My Story

As a student and former staff member at Western University, I am an advocate for empathy and a change seeker. In my final year of the Master of Professional Education program, I have learned a variety of pedagogical tools, theories and understand the 21st Century classroom. While challenging myself academically, I also maintained a full-time role as a Curriculum Support Administrator at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. I have coordinated and provided support to a variety of pre-clerkship (Years 1 & 2) courses for medical students. In September 2017, I will be pursuing a PhD in Health Professional Education. I am a life-long learner and plan to continue my research on empathy training in health education.
